After moving to the farmstead near Anykščiai, I began to take an interest in woodwork. When working with a tree, its charms appear - colours, shades, warmth, cosiness, coils, branches. I try to talk to the tree, and I try to reveal all the beauty with chisels and saws. I pat and talk to wood and it takes the forms of an angel, a ship, clouds, or wind.
